In LK, main focus and is based on houses and its karakas and its
over-all relationship. Main importance is given to house and karaka
relationships.
Now this relationships is tabulated in the form of horoscope is
basically calculated 'practically' by Panditji by using many methods,
like from (a) hand or from the person where he is living i.e. (b) house
or (c) from the events he is facing and last resort is from (d) the
traditional chart.
The time plan in LK is 'fixed 35 sala chakra' or the progression of
planets at per varshphal table mostly used.
Panditji has many times specifically advices for Durustee of horoscope,
which means that to correct the horoscope as per events occurred in the
person's life.
What i think is that traditional horoscope was the last resort to erect
natal LK chart.
If traditional horoscope does not matches the Nishaniya (indication)
than other method should be adopted as advised by Panditji. Many time
Makaan Kundli could give far accurate prediction as advice by Panditji.
So I think Rasis and Nakshatra does NOT have much role to play in this
concept. whereas practical way in erecting horoscope and than analyzing
in the different but practical way has given more importance.
Here applying traditional astrology is like taking 'muhurth' in any
tantric sadana, though Tantric application \ sadana itself has its own
way of doing rituals and does not have mush uses of traditional astrology.
