What's the definition of manda?
As you are concerned about Mercury, Mercury is manda in house number 3-8-9-12.
Could you please send in as to which planets are manda in context of house number 2.

So it means that the budh in 2nd house ll not give gud results .. But won't also give bad results .. It ll act neutral ..
But wat the words in lalkitab says that. "aasar sabhi ka is ghar aakar manda ka bhi umda hai"
Umda hai -- means gud benificial ..
Manda ka bhi umda hai -- bad also become gud .. Or melific also become benific ..
so that's wat I am confused abt !!

When we say that - aasar sabhi ka is ghar aakar manda ka bhi umda hai .. That means any graha in 2nd house will give its gud results .. Weather its budh surya or surya+budh together ..

8H aspect 2H and 2H aspect 6H, indirectly 8H has connection with 6H.
If 8H is empty than 2H is umda ie excellent but if 2H is empty everything will be excellent.
If Jupiter in 2H and 8H is empty, results of jupiter will be harmful, ie air of jupiter will be like a bad storm. If 9H is rainy monsoon clouds which create over the ocean than 2H will be a long range of mountains where this cloud will strike and rain will fall.

If any planet comes in 2H, it becomes kismat ka grah for that year.
But if 10H is empty than it will become dormant.
Please note that condition for soya hua grah is change here, normally if 7H is empty than first house is called soya hua grah.
Query is where we will see empty 10H condition, in natal chart or varshphal chart ?

2H is field of 8H, sitting place of Rahu and ketu.
Ketu signifies leg and rahu signifies head, forehead is hollow air of Jupiter.
This concept is very deep and I am producing my opinion :
To understand itmore clearly I am taking help from text Lk-52 pg 62-63.
First we must know that Forehead is 11H and face is 6H.
Place of Tilak at forehead between eyebrows is Jupiter of house 2, the gate where spiritual growth is connected, this place of Tilak is connection between two world of Jupiter.
It is also a joint seat of rahu and ketu (ie artificial venus), here jupiter is as hollow air(hawai hawa), means artificial thoughts, moh, maya ,hawai kyaal. Jupiter is not free from illusionary thoughts in 2H.
Therefore LK clearly says that if from all side 2H is empty ie 8H & 6H is also emptythan only it will be the place of Tilak else NOT.
Because other planets will bring illusionary thoughts.
2H has joint effect with 8H.
I)
Peepal,pital, mitti peeli, kesar, peela rangbhi hai.
Asar sabhi ka is ghar aakar, manda ka bhi umda hai.
Peepal tree, Pital (yellow metal), yellow mud, saffron, and color yellow
All becomes good in this house.
My opinion if Jupiter is manda in the chart or in any condition, placing items of Jupiter as given above , Jupiter will become umda.
Needs more elaboration.

Phal2-11 apno apna, band mutti ke khanomein.
Stree grah se jo milkar, baitha 2 ya kahi bhiho.
Results of 2-11H will be individual, in 1-4-7-10
If associated with female planet either in 2H or anywhere.

Paap ki baithak ghar hai guru ke, grehast sukkar ban jata hai.
Planets aspects2H, children will dies or affected.
Rahu and ketu(paap) in this house of Jupiter will become homely venus.
My opinion that planets which aspects 2H (only two case either 8H will reverse aspect to 2H orsani in 6H will have reverse aspect to 2H) will affect the progeny related issues, poison of 8H or of Saturn will shift to 2H and kill children,grandchildren.

Kismat sab ki jo mathe pe chalti, ketu guru budh milta hai.
Chandra, mangal badh, sani baithe, maut, janam,2 milta hai.

M)
Aat (8) grah is ghar mein aathe, juda ravi perrehta hai.Ketu guru kare mastak lamba, karam-dharam,daya badta hai.
Planet in 8H comes in 2H , it has differences with sun,
Ketu and guru in this house increase humbleness and reputation, makes philanthropic and dharmic.
My opinion is when8H planets comes in 2H, stiffness of royalty (sun) disappears and becomes morehumble. OR native kingly status is finished and retirement come and gets involve in Dharmic activities.
