Re: [astrostudents] Re: Pakka Ghar no.4, Lal Kitab - 1942 page 20. Dharmi Tewa

Respected wandahl, you are right about these combination (shani+guru and rahu/ketu+moon) creating millions of dharmi teva charts. I guess here 2 points are very important
  • Teva darustee(rectification) needs to be done to be 100% sure about the combination.
  • It's upto the native to be as simple and down to earth as possible to avail any benefit (that too gaibi madad/unseen help) from his chart.

Kind Regards

1. rahu/ketu in 4th or with moon in any house.
2. shani in 11 or with jupiter in any house.

If we read Lal Kitab in a literal manner then it is true these combinations cause Dharmi Tewa, but perhaps this goes a little deeper. I like to caution that Jupiter and Saturn may stay in the same sign for a entire year, and not all horoscopes for such a long period should be considered as genuine Dharmi Tewa.

In the same way Moon will be with Rahu/ketu for 2½ days giving rise to about 60 different charts, and not all af them should be considered a real Dharmi Tewa. Many of them are only a kind of Dharmi Tewa.

We need to distinguish between the more general trend like this and the much more personal and specific trend when the Ascendant is taken into consideration. Lal Kitab is after all very much an Ascendant-based system. Please let me illustrate this with an example of a powerful Dharmi Tewa:

H.No. 1:  Ven
H.No. 2:  Merc
H.No. 3:  Sun & Rahu
H.No. 5:  Jup
H.No. 6:  Sat
H.No. 7: Mars
H.No. 9:  Moon & Ketu

Surely this chart has got a Moon/Ketu combination, but why does this combination turn this chart into a very strong Dharmi Tewa? Let us analyze it more closely:

1) When H.No. 4 is blank it is very good and because of this H.No. 9, occupied by the Moon, becomes very strong and benefic.

2) Ketu is twice exalted because of: 1) being in the 9th and 2) being aspected by Jupiter from H.No.5.

The chart belongs to the late Sri Ramana Maharishi.

Best regards,
Finn Wandahl
