[astrostudents] Re: Request to umesh ji

Dear Kulbeer ji,
In one phrase it means "The Intellectual Intelligence". In general 'Pragya' means 'Intelligence' but let us go into the details. The word 'Pragya' is made up by adding a prefix 'Pra' to the root word 'Gya'.
· Pra - In Advance, Ahead of, Forward
· Gya - To know, Knowledge, Intelligence
In this way the meaning of 'Pragya' is the intelligence which can work beyond normal logical way of finding the truth. You can tell it "Spiritual Intelligence" but that would would be a rather religious term so I prefer to say it "The Intellectual Intelligence".
I believe in the Intellectual Intelligence instead of the bookish intelligence. Reading books is necessary to acquire knowledge and I appreciate that but having lots of knowledge only, is just like being a person who has plenty of wealth but no power to make use of it. I think that the most necessary aspect of intelligence is the intellectual power. If you have intellectual power you can even use other's knowledge to let your work done. However it is better to have your own knowledge but doesn't mater if you don't have the intellectual intelligence.
Thanks& Regards
Umesh Sharma
