It is a normal phenomenon. Pt. Ji name normally spelled as Roop Chand. I had also been writing the same untill the publishing of the picture of name plate of Pandit JI which is taken by you during your visit to Pharwala alongwith Prabhakar ji & Sharma Ji.
We have to see the essence of the message of Ribhukant Ji, which is full of enthusiasm.

please note Pt; Roop Chand Joshi is generally written as such as mentioned in your message but Pt. Ji paid a great attention to minute details. He wrote his names spellings as Rup Chand Joshi; rUP chand joshi; emphasis on up; i came to know it from a great
scholar Mr. Rabinder Bhandari;
Pt ji's name plate bears testimony to this fact.
