Every planet has "Nek Haalat" and "Mandee Haalat". and this Nek
and Mandi haalat also depends on many other aspects apart from a
planet's own position in the chart. For example Rahu is considered
malefic in 8th and 12th house, but it will be no longer considered
malefic if Mars is posited in 1st or 12th house. There are scores of
other such examples, so one needs to study the book thoroughly.
